Jadviga Zilvinska (1918-2010) was born in Tallinn.
Grown in Liepaja, there's also started and strengthened her great interest in art, which brought a new artist to study the Latvian Art Academy. In Latvian Art Academy studing at K. Ubans, V. Tone, J. Liepins and L.Liberts. And later his entire life devoted to art - working Liepaja crafts school, and the portrait combine "Art".
The artist had four favorite themes: landscapes, portraits, flowers and sacred paintings. Works have lyrics and inner harmony. Portraits we see not only the external human form, but allows the designer look essentially the same man - believed to be the same models often by the artist himself saw a vision of something new and bright.
Works executed in various techniques - tempera, oil, pastel and watercolor.

Artists' Union member since 1966. year.
Solo Exhibitions: Riga, Jelgava, Sigulda (1972), Riga (1975, 1978, two in 1981, 1986, 1994), Jurmala (1979).
The works exhibited in the Soviet Union and the Republic of art exhibitions, as well as abroad (Poland, Switzerland, Italy, Japan, Finland, Venezuela, Germany, Hungary).
