The Artembassy auction house is organizing high-value artwork auction!
The auction exhibition from 21.-28.11.2023 will take place at the premises of Rietumu Bank in Vesetas street 7.
Bidding will be online on website www.artembassy.lv, from November 10 to 28.2023, till 21:00, also we accept telephone bidding.
Consultations on the items offered in the auction will be provided from November 21 to 28 at the premises of Rietumu Bank.
610 outstanding works of art that are not available in the every day art market will be offered in this great auction. Participants of the auction will have the possibility to purchase such pearls of Latvian painting as the works of Janis Rozentals, Aleksanda Belcova, Johans Valters, Jānis Ferdinands Tīdemanis, Ludolfs Liberts, Eduards Kalniņš, Leo Kokle, Leo Svemps, Jānis Pauļuks, Herberts Siliņš and other outstanding Latvian artists. The section of applied arts will be widely represented as well, offering distinguished antiques - jewellery, silver, gold, bronze and porcelain items.
In the charity section, funds will be collected for the support of Zane Reke by offering to buy high-quality works of art donated by artists.
Zane from Riga is 41 years old, she is a creative person, knows the world of art very well, has worked in various galleries. Zane is a mom to wonderful 6-year-old twin boys. Already during pregnancy, Zane noticed a birthmark on her cheek, which was operated on immediately after the birth of the babies, as skin cancer - melanoma - was confirmed. After the operation, she followed the doctors' instructions and had regular check-ups, everything was within normal limits until this autumn. Zane found out that the tumor had progressed and metastasized very recently, on the eve of his birthday. Zane is raising her sons alone. "There is a terrible fear of not being able to raise my sons, of not seeing them become young, handsome boys. At the same time, it is the sons who give a lot of faith in the ability to heal," admits Zane. But faith alone is not enough, as considerable funds are needed.
