An excellent melodist, he is known as the "King of the Riga Tango". Wrote over 300 compositions.[2] He gave concerts in France, Germany, China (Harbin), Japan, Singapore, Jamaica. Strok's compositions have been released by Columbia, Electrocord, Syrena, Electro, HMV and others.
